FigureWorld 2013

Date – Saturday 20th July 2013

Venue – Oundle Shcool Great Hall, New Street, Oundle (near Peterborough), PE8 4GH

Over 20 traders attended in 2012, serving everything the figure modeller could want or need. There is a display area for clubs and individuals to display their models which must focus on figure subjects – historical, fantasy or sci-fi.

No competition is planned, the idea of the show being to get figure modellers together to chat, display their models and share ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Club displays featured in the past include The White Rose Society, British Model Soldier Society, British Flat Figure Society, Platoon Britannica, WAMP and The Basement.

Individual displays from modellers are also encouraged, and small groupings of anything from a single figure through to twenty models are commonly seen.

Total models on display in 2012 was approximately 600 pieces with displays from beginners right up to some of the top names from within the British hobby.

Opening times 9:30 until 16:00

Entry into show £3 per person ( £1.50 concessions )

Display space is free of charge, and whilst any pieces larger than 450mm square will be welcome, the organisers would appreciate modellers contacting them prior to the show so that space can be assigned more easily.
